Oregonian has great stories and I add my comments on stories of interest to me. Hard to have a decent discussion with other bloggers here. The literacy rate here is poor and lots of Rush Limbaugh types ruin any logical discussion.

Portland Mercury is far better than its reputation. Great local stories and a truly free speech blog, the only true free speech blog in Portland, which makes it one of my favorites just for that alone! Not for sexual prudes however. When attempting to post it is possible that an ad with a giant dildo can pop up on your screen. Very few Rush Limbaugh types can stand it here.
